Jaimie Caliri directed the titles for Lemony Snicket. If you haven't seen them already. Check them out on Youtube. His latest work is a amazing cut-out commercial for United Airlines. Its done by hand with real cut-outs. Check out the commercial here.
He's one of the greats in my opinion who has been doing some great cut out animation work.

After you've watched "Up" on Friday. Come up to Nucleus Gallery and hear Ronnie Del Carmen speak.He'll talk about his work on the Disney•Pixar film "Up" where he served as story supervisor & lead story artist. Ronnie will show a short slide presentation and participate in a Q and A session.
He'll also sign art of "Up" books as well.
Nucleus Gallery is about 50 minutes from the Inland Empire.

Christmas Carol Multimedia tour at the L.A Union Station

Hey folks, Robert Zemeckis new film "Christmas Carol" is opening Nov.6. with Jim Carrey. If you would like to come up to Los Angeles and visit the Union Train Station, your in for a treat! A whole 4 trains has been set up with various examples of character development and design, concept art, models, and maquettes, performance capture footage, artifacts from the Charles Dickens Museum in London, plus interactive kiosks for London Flyovers and character morphing with your own face, powered by HP TouchSmart PCs!
